The key to the high degree of reliability with the Simalube� cartridge is the innovative, fully adjustable gas generating power source. Less reliable automatic lubricators use batteries or a dangerous zinc/acid reactions to provide power to dispense the lubricant. Simalube� created the gas cells to provide consistant, continous and extremely reliable delivery. The technician simply sets the delivery time from 1 to 12 months with a simple twist of an allen key, and the Simalube� cartridge does the rest. Changing environmental conditions will have an effect on all single point lubricators. Temperature or pressure fluctuations will cause delivery rates to be altered. Unfortunately for Electrochemical lubricators (Perma classic), there is no way to compensate for these changes. Other, more expensive lubricators do allow for some degree of adjustment, but it is a cumbersome process usually accomplished by resetting a series of dip switches. As well, these lubricators are adjusted in increments, usually representing 1 month of service. The Simalube� cartridge is infinately adjustable to any setting within its range of 1 to 12 months of dispensing time. This feature, unique to Simalube�, allows the technician to adjust the lubricator to the exact needs of the system. For applications that require more lubricant or special delivery methods, there are manifolds that will gang 2 or 4 cartidges together, and accessories and brushes to fit nearly any application.
